📣 June Design Jam RDU — Teaser Alert

We’re switching gears (just for a bit).

This month, we’re stepping away from Vibe Coding (don’t worry, it’ll be back in July or August!) and diving into something just as critical for UX professionals: how to speak the language of business.

Too often, UX gets sidelined—not because of lack of value, but because of a language mismatch. Product teams speak in metrics, outcomes, and ROI. UX speaks in journeys, flows, and feedback. This session is about bridging that gap.

đź—“ Tentative Date:
Friday, June 27
2:00–5:00 PM
📍American Underground,
201 West Main St.
Durham, NC 27701

đź’¬ Open Format Discussion

Led by Jeff Wright, former head of UX at iContact—where he helped build a design team that earned its seat at the table, contributing to a $169M exit. Jeff will share lessons from navigating a deeply engineering-driven culture and making a strong business case for UX.

Other local UX leaders may join the conversation as well—stay tuned for speaker confirmations and RSVP details.
